Well, it's that time of the month...

the time of the month that we've been dreading --- we have it marked on the calendar, and until automation replaces the taxpayer, we will squeeze every last drop of green blood we have to send to a country that was founded to avoid high taxation.

Yes, the government's idea of checks & balances are - they write the checks, and we pay the balance...

Don't even think about leaving the comment "We did our taxes in January and got a HUGE return, we'll totally be able to take the family out for Happy Meals & McFlurries!" Our tax bill could have bought us a very nice ski-boat...and the lake - since there's no water to speak of here.

Dang, the boat and the lake?!

{{there there my friend, there there}} "patting on the back"

So do you put money away every month for this pain? Not sure I like the idea of owning our own business anymore. Sorry

WE did our taxes in january and had to PAY more money than it cost us to go to Hawaii! Thus, they weren't mailed until tax day!

Yes, we had money sitting aside - earning dividends & whatnot - still a painful thing to write over to a bunch of nimrods you don't really care for.
