Got someone coming in tomorrow morning at 9 to look at the house - this is the first viewing of an empty house - of course, most of the cabinets are full still - and I have a washer/dryer here - my desk & computer - pictures on the walls, etc - but most everything else is empty - I need to shampoo the carpets - maybe tomorrow - or maybe after I pack everything - either way - I'm ready to sell it.
I miss it already - but I need to sell it so I have closure so I can start enjoying my new gorgeous home.

So I was thinking about your question...about your new house. I think you should just remodel what you don't like! yeah it will be a pain, but who cares--at least it will take your mind off of what you don't like!
