**WHY** do you do this?

Take those stupid word verification things off your blogs - they're hard to read and I always have to type them 2-3 times to get them right - I HATE THEM - what's the purpose -- so that no one hacks into your blog and leaves a comment? seriously - just don't allow anonymous comments - but TAKE THE WORD VERIFICATION OFF - you're killing me!

WEll, they claim it's better to have it turned on to avoid SPAM... but just for YOU, I removed mine... happy now? *smooch*

I don't have one and I detest them too! Happy? :)

I will take mine off, but I put them up because I was getting weird spam from my comments. Hopefully I won't again, I will sacrifice for you! :)

You know what, in all my many many moons of blogging, I've only ever had 2 junk mail comments. I just deleted them, no prob. I hate those things too...it always takes me 2 or 3 times to get it right...who has the patience for that?

I used to have word verification because I got stupid bot spam, and they can't do it if you have verification turned on. But I haven't had one forever. And I have to allow anonymous comments because I have a few readers who don't have blogs, and wouldn't comment if they had to register to do it.

However -- I hate putting the word verification into other people's blogs, and many times it has messed up and lost my entire post, and I gave up and didn't leave a comment at all. Then I wondered if other people were having hassles like that with my blog. So I turned off verification.

Anyway. Not that it matters, but that's why ONE person had it, anyway!
