Brief update

Saturday, Sept 1 - bad puke day - back starts to hurt
Sunday, Sept 2, stayed home from church, back was killing me, maybe kidney stones?
Monday, Sept 3, my birthday - Ross took kids out of the house so I could die in peace.
Tuesday, Sept 4, died in peace. apparently there was a hospital involved & some passing out, but after all the tests were said & done, it was determined it's all in my head - but just for good measure I got some morphine & phentergan and also prescriptions of vicodin and phentergan...I am not a drug person - not even an asprin for a headache, but I welcomed these pills with open mouth!
Wed Sept 5th, got out of bed 2 or 3 times to go to the bathroom. Mom came to town to baby me
Thurs. Sept 6th, got out of bed 2 or 3 times to go to the bathroom - mom made me chocolate milk shake
Friday September 7th, went to walmart - came home & took a vicodin & stayed in bed (Walmart has been known to effect people this way)
Saturday September 8th, Got up feeling okay - went to bed a few hours later & woke up around 8p.m. took a shower & went back to bed.
Sunday - HELLO! I went to all of church today - felt WONDERFUL! (well comparitively - we figured maybe I just pulled a puke muscle & it's taken its sweet time healing! - still hurts a teeny bit, but thousands of times better than the last few days!

So here it is Monday. I went to the OB on a regular checkup - he gave me a lot of sympathy - it was nice. I think he likes me. I told him the u/s at the hospital measured the baby a week further than he had measured it - so he took me in for another ultrasound! And look at the attitude this little rebel showed:

Needless to say the doctor said that we'd call this one a boy, because girls just don't make jestures like that! (Baby's left arm on the right side there looks like it's showing us what a "birdy" looks like)

So, yes, the doctor concurs, and instead of me being 11 weeks, 1 day today - as my last u/s would have shown, I'm measuring at 12 weeks, 3 days. So really who knows what the REAL due date is? The one from the 7 week ultrasound measure, or the one from the 12 week ultrasound measure? Don't really have a LMP date firmed up - but I always thought I was further than 7 weeks when he first measured it - so I'll go with that - although, I did quite agree w/ the April 1st due date - this baby's a jokster already, that's fur dang sure!
