Time for a change?

All right - I'll trump & bump the snotty picture down! We're going to see the doctor today to do the PKU test and I'm sure we'll get some kind of antibiotics for Coby, as well. I'm a little apprehensive since the only other "sick" baby (snot-wise) I've had was Howie and that ended up being a nice case of asthma! So I'm not excited about this particular visit. Howie's first doctors visit (at 2 weeks old) was a sinus infection - and then perpetual ear infections the first year of life until he got tubes in his ears when he was 14 months old!

I just don't want this one to hit that route!

Anyway - Brynn's decided that she doesn't want to take naps any more...not that she was ever a good napper, but it's been wearing her out. Yesterday after conference, we found her asleep on the stairs...the way she was laying, I thought for sure she fell down the stairs & passed out RIGHT there! But no, apparently, just too tired to climb the rest of the steps up to her room!

Meanwhile, I got strawberies at 80 cents a pound - $7.50 or so for the flat, which is a phenominal price. Of course, I picked up 3 flats (WHAT? was I thinking?!!) to make strawberry jam and have been "jamming" since Saturday morning. (Not jamming SOLID since then, but on & off - chah - I'm not THAT slow!!)

So I've reserved the top shelf of my freezer for jam & future jam.

My refrigerator is infested with strawberries.

And oops, just noticed I'm all outa sugar! Way to find that out in the middle of a batch, eh?

So strawberry jam season is upon us - are you doing your duty to sweeten up your household?
